Being an inmate planning a future in journalism doing gonzo work here, this headline is shot straight at me. On my State tablet, our news outlet is A.P. "Associated Press", the supposed bastion of integrity. This, the only daily print I get behind Ultimate Firewall®, hear me say it is but a blue bullhorn. Look no further than https://apnews.com/article/gotti-grandson-fraud-prison-kidney-donation-fc85b6f7c5752ee6e96306eaa98d566e
Me? I'm nonpartisan, non-binary, living life case-by-case. Also this blog isn't here to support politicians. It's here to bolster my massive ego.
That said, those last two unnecessary lines in this story clearly were there for currying resentment against the sitting POTUS. "The New Jersey lockup where Agnello is now incarcerated has housed some notable inmates over the years. Most recently disgraced New York Congressman George Santos served less than three months of a more than seven year sentence there before President Donald Trump granted him clemency last year." Info not germane to gangsta grandsons ripping off funds authorized for relief from Covid. Agnello's fellow former reality star and leader of the free world in question has adamantly pursued grifters of this sort, unmentioned. The fix is in, they say.
Being clear, I'm not Trump-stumping. His obnoxious mouth, while sometimes hilarious like your "drunkle" at Thanksgiving undoes diplomacy, expanding divisiveness. Constantly preaching on the crap mathematics of two wrongs = anything decent to fish, I'm not down with his wasteful revenge schemes either. Biden approved legislation (Chester Chee-Toh did too showing rare bipartisanship) allowing me to do this blog as a byproduct of an education encompassing a Bachelors in December. Case-by-case, I repeat. What I've heard from the mouths of smarter cats than me is we support politicians were in agreement with 60%. That's wisdom and critical thought so I'm buying.
What I'd love anybody to do as a takeaway is try moving to thinking situationally. Don't say open minded/hearted, live it. Question yourself and allegiances. Reading Kat Timpf's I Used To Like You Until... her most compelling statement about culture is how we toss our friendships, relationships, and more away for rich folk teams who care nothing about us. Facts.
Anyway, at the prison it's store day, always maddening. Everyone behaves their worst over Family Dollar vittles. Debt repayments and their dodging result with somebody every time choosing the hole to avoid a beating rarely dealt at Northpoint. Groundhog Day after 11 flat. All I'm about is tonight's Chicken Alfredo.
Arrivederci, Holmes! xoxoxo Batmama
